I made this cupcake after getting a promotional sachet of Salted Caramel cupcake centre sauce. I used this cupcake idea for my colleague’s 30th birthday Giant Salted Caramel Cupcake. I can’t quite think what went wrong with the buttercream consistency. A fluffy/spiky technique was all I could do to make it presentable as it was too soft to be pipable. I wonder if I over melted the butter?
