Banoffee Slice

The fourth of the traybakes I made for the Macmillan Coffee Morning 2016. Similar to the Carrot, Oat and Walnut Slice, I included this as a healthy-ish non-chocolate option (although I did grate chocolate on top…) I probably left this recipe for last because I wouldn’t want the bananas or cream to spoil.

This was my attempt at having a ‘healthy option’ at the Macmillan Coffee Morning 2016. It was a little odd that the mixture didn’t fit in the tray like it implied it would. Maybe it needs to be a softer consistency to be more spreadable?  

Rocky Road

My original aim for Macmillan Coffee Morning 2016 was to focus on making traybakes in advance to spread the amount of work needed. For one thing or another that didn’t happen! Probably was a combination of life and possibly a distrust to baking in advance in case it goes stale. This should have had coconut in it……

Double Chocolate and Raspberry Brownies

Brownies were another mandatory item for Macmillan Coffee Morning 2016. The bake probably would have looked better if I took a photo of a piece. But it was quite a stressful morning to set up and floods of people right at the start, so there wasn’t time for extra photos.

Mocha Cupcakes

When planning for the Macmillan Coffee Morning 2016, I needed to consider the balance of bakes. Cupcakes of course had to be included. But I already had chocolate dishes and with the quantity of bakes I didn’t want complex decorations. So I focused on flavours.
